ScanBus

Initialy, ScanBus was developed for tracing products on the shop floor by using fixed barcode scanner mounted over the conveyors. Data collected in a central PC was send to an ERP software (Visiprise) (XML or OPC).
Later, ScanBus was expanded for processing feedback from the ERP software. If a scan is invalid, the operator on the shop floor can see on the terminal display what the reason of the invalid scan is and the conveyor is stopped (SMEMA interfase or simple relay) or the product is deviated.
